Come on, I just join the discussion here, it's dcxg here who seemingly taught me English learning but actually forbade me using English. By contrast I do not deprive your right to use non-official lang, Mandarin. You think that conforms to your so-called NZer's perception?

I sometimes switch my reading and thought to other topics, which makes me know more about  many of my peers - they agrees that I have knowledge in a wider range.

I believe philosophy is inevitably the next filed for scientific people to take part in, and I do know a few thoughtful on that, conversely, the former may give enlightenment on the research we are doing.

That's a interesting point I got from you is, how a Chinese persist with it's formerly taught language and perception over 20 years despite physically living in NZ, and once this phenomenon is pointed out, he denied and got angered~~

I didn't say my English is good enough and I do seek to improve it constantly, I just use English as my life language, that's all.

If you clarify that I have no right to join the discussion because of the language I'm using, that'll be another topic.

So curious that  "not using Mandarin" seems so offensive that almost all of you are distracted from the main topic here. You tend to care more on my language rather than the future of the west world.

One of the reason is I never underwent academic education in English env, so never systematically practiced the written English, thanks to your Beijing ruler.

While I dislike dcxg, I do agree on his point about English education in PRC. Nonetheless, he refuses to practice English in the way he supports, and clearly blames my practice. He seems to be mentally disordered.

Generally say, if a person keep using a language other than his first language, even for decades without enforcement from authority where the overall population use another language, we can see how loyal he is to that former colonizer.

You feel how strange I use English is just like from that perspective I see you.

I used Google trans to do so, since I deleted the IME on my PC.

My strategy is such simple, no way to allow me to use Mandarin any longer. BTW, typing alphabet is easier and quicker than using an annoying IME.

If you try to do so, not so difficult as you anticipated.

Just think rationally: why we can talk/write entirely in English during work time but not after work? There's no barrier that can't break, Just think about how DDD88 mastered his Mandarin and loyally used it for another two decades.

Not few Indian migrants already talk to their kids in English alone, why can't we, given that I'm not a loyalist at all.

太过正常表达不出思维的神
对方体会不到自己的意
这就导致郁闷
郁者秘之源也
跨文化婚姻中迁就对方说外语的便秘几率大些
这是有科学根据的
